The Kennedy's leaving the airport in Dallas.

Greetings ~

On November 22, 1963, while touring Dallas, Texas in a motorcade, 43rd U.S. President John F. Kennedy was assassinated while riding in the presidential limousine by one, two or possibly more snipers hidden in and around the streets.
There are several artifacts that were involved in this event that have gained national fame. One is the rifle used in the murder by Lee Harvey Oswald. Another is the .38 caliber pistol that Oswald used on that day to kill police officer Tibbett. There is the bullet found on one of the gurneys at Parkland Hospital that went through Kennedy's neck and into Texas Governor Connelly. I wonder what happened to Oswald's curtain rods. Perhaps the most iconic peace of history from that day is the 1961 Lincoln Continental four door presidential limousine itself. This is the automobile that Kennedy and his wife, first lady Jackie Kennedy and Connelly and his wife were riding in.
